Lately I’ve been getting frustrated at all the junk cluttering up my life. I struggle to find what I’m looking for. It stresses me out and now I’ve hit breaking point. So I took a hard look at my life and did some investigating.
I’ve started to get more serious about my financial situation and educating my self on money. Last night I looked at all my orders for the last 5 years on my amazon account. I wrote down all the things I no longer have in my possession and the cost of it. These items are books I haven’t read, clothes I’ve worn once and got rid of. Impulse buys because I thought they would somehow help my life like an electrical manicure tool, skipping rope and so on.
I added up the total for each year:
2019 — £282.08
2020 — £379.59
2021 — £412.90
2022 — £974.86
2023 — £557.57
The total for those 5 years adds up to £2,607.00! And let me be clear this doesn’t include everything I ordered each year on Amazon! only the items I no longer have in my life or the 99 books I have still not read!
