I Deleted My Print On Demand Store

Here’s the reason why I did

I tried a side hustle opening a print on demand store on Red-bubble. I started last year in October 2020. I subscribed to Canva and upgraded to the pro subscription for £10.99 per month. By no means was I a graphic artist but I enjoyed the creative flow it gave me. I watched you-tube channels dedicated to growing your Print on demand store. I initially wanted to sell just my photography of landscapes and artwork.

I was encouraged by you-tube channels to display designs on every item not just to art prints alone! So I did, I then followed the niches and trends and produced some ‘evergreen’ products which where my own designs besides the trending designs. It felt good I enjoyed the process. I opened a Facebook page, Instagram page, and a Pinterest account to upload my designs. I would try to upload three photos per design on my Instagram. I started doing it three time a week but then cut back to once a week as it got too much!

I eventually sold my first item in March 2021 for a phone case! My first sale was after six months and having over 100 designs. I was thrilled after months of dedicating myself to this side hustle I thought it was going to work! I then had another sale for two stickers!
