In 2020 Worldwide many of us had to queue outside to gain access to the supermarket. Food in my country was restricted so you could only buy two of each item. Panic buying led to even more shortages. Most people have heard of the term ‘prepping’ and I think it is a good idea to start.
Prepping therefore makes sense in case of future problems like we had back in 2020. It means we are less likely to be selfish in times of need. If you have two years worth of food staples and health products then the money you have in times of struggle can go towards bills such as rent.
Two years worth of food is a decent amount so if you suddenly lose your job or become chronically ill. You will have a staple of food and beauty products to tide you over until you are in a better situation. Of course it takes time and dedication put the pay off could be worth it. You don’t necessarily have to prep for two years but I think its ideal.
Find a place you can store the food safely and securely, you don’t need a bunker or a garage for this. Prep for staples that you do eat and use. An easy way to prep is to buy two of each item as and when you can. Store the extra items away in your prep cupboard
