My second chapbook is here!
Yes my second chapbook is here! I actually finished it a while ago and didn’t tell anyone due to some health problems I had been dealing with. I am happy announce it is available on Amazon and I am happy with how it has turned out.
My second chapbook revolves around mental health issues ranging from self-harm and suicide and a host of other issues too! It reflects certain events that have happened to me and my expression of them. It actually gave me much healing but also a lot of pain and sorrow. Writing this has been cathartic to say the least and I had a huge emotional release after finishing this book.
It sounds cliche but if just one person reads my poems and relates to them and it helps them through difficult times then I will be happy. Poetry came along to save me at the right time and for that I will be ever grateful. I finally have strength to share my words and even if no-one reads I am still doing it for myself, why? because words save lives and poetry saved mine.
